We are Slater, we do PR

Having the best product or the greatest service is no use by itself – it needs people to know about it for them to get in touch.

Our job is to get people talking about what you do.

We make a lot of headlines. Your customers watch the news, read the papers and leaf through magazines and if it’s important that when they do, they see you, then that’s where we come in.

If your audience reads the Bakers’ Journal, that’s where we will get you. If your customers live in Pennine Lancashire we’ll focus on the Lancashire Telegraph, Accrington Observer and the like – there is little benefit getting you in The Sun when all your customers live in Clitheroe!

Getting stories published is our bread and butter so we know all the techniques, but we’ve also had experience as media professionals; we’ve seen it from the other side, so we know what works.

We also understand the differences between the media, what stories they like, and how they like them to be written.

We have close working relationships with the media. As well as knowing how to get a story printed, we also know what’s coming up in advance. If there’s a topic you’re a specialist in, we’ll make sure you’re the one they call when looking for expert opinion.
