A Blackburn lad born and bred, Dean graduated in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Central Lancashire before coming to Slater. His experience includes placements with the BBC World Service, Granada News and the Lancashire Telegraph.

He will usually be found liaising with clients and the press, brainstorming innovative ways to gain coverage or producing content.

Dean is skilled in creating video, from storyboarding to the edit process, and specialises in the delivery of social media strategy.

Something you didn’t know about me:

I’ve appeared on international radio – the BBC’s World Service no less – reading out listener texts and emails to approximately 15 million people. Possibly the most nerve-racking moment of my life.

Three things I couldn’t survive on a desert island without:
I could probably survive on a desert island forever if I had an endless supply of Cinnamon and Raisin New York Bagels, the ability to make brews and an iPad (including an unlimited iTunes account). I’d love it, Swiss Family Robinson-style. Except without the family bit.

I was two and in a lift crying. Just so happens the lift was on the Eiffel Tower.

Must-watch TV?

I hate starting a series in the middle. I have to watch them end-to-end. Big fan of Grey’s Anatomy, tacky Cowell-controlled talent shows and the greatest programme ever to grace our television screens, The West Wing.
